[edit] Communication Tools

During the start-up phase of the project, we are compiling information about communication tools that we might adopt in the project. Please list any tools that you think might be suitable and describe them, also list any requirements you think would be important.

  • Jabber: we have a jabber room provided by CESNET which is available for meetings in EUAsiaGrid. See the joining instructions.
  • Skype and Google Talk are useful ways to have ad-hoc meetings or can be used as back-channels if other mechanisms fail.
  • Adobe Connect: Alex Voss has access to a license held by the National e-Science Centre in the UK.
  • Access Grid: still to be explored...
